I couldn’t complete this collection without acknowledging that creativity takes courage. A lot of courage. To bring your creative, new ideas to a meeting in work or dedicate your life to the arts, they both take courage. Look at this artwork, do you see the top layer of grey and silver? To complete the artwork I had to have courage, courage that this top layer was going to be the making of this artwork. I had to believe. Believe in my own process, my own colour combinations, my contrasting textures plan. There was no turning back. It was make or break.聽Courage + Confidence = Creativity.
