Part of my Nu Blu Collection of 9 original paintings, ‘Gold Rush’ is a homage to denim blue. Can you remember your first pair of blue jeans? How did they make you feel when you put them on? Better than gold I suspect! Did you know that blue jeans were the official trousers (pants) of choice during the California Gold Rush in the Sacramento Valley in early 1848? Did you know many of them were Irish? Can you see the gold rush happening in this painting?
