“This artwork took the longest time to create, we went through many emotions together, finally finding our feet and fell into a rhythm of colours and textures. It felt right. I finally knew I was on the right path after a long struggle.

I don’t know when the epiphany came, I don’t know what mark or colour I used that made me feel, ‘YES! this is it, now we are getting somewhere!’ but I do know I made myself relax, let go and have fun (easier said than done!). I turned up my favourite music and I stopped trying to control the outcome.

Description

I trusted my process and knew I was going to arrive, enjoying the journey along the way. In the end, this artwork was so enjoyable to work on I didn’t want it to end! The gold was incredibly satisfying to apply, the energy of the neon orange, the moody purples were addictive and I just wanted to plunge into the pools of turquoise blue.

This artwork reminded me to enjoy the journey and for that, I will always be grateful” 

This artwork has both cool and warm tones making it ideal in a room that features both.
