This dynamic abstract artwork draws inspiration from page 77 of James Joyce’s Ulysses, capturing the vivid colors and the poignant scene where Bloom explains the concept of metempsychosis—the transmigration of souls—to his wife as he brings her breakfast and her morning mail.

The composition pulses with energy and meaning, featuring:
🩶 Grey Garters: Subtle, grounding tones symbolizing the everyday domestic intimacy of their relationship.
🧡 Orange Keyed Chamberpot: Bold, fiery hues representing the warmth of their exchange and the vibrant spark of life’s small rituals.
❤️ Ruby: Deep, passionate reds symbolizing the richness of connection and the eternal cycle of souls passing through time and space.

The geometric forms and layered textures echo the complexity of Joyce’s prose, blending the physical with the metaphysical. The bold strokes and contrasting palette invite viewers to contemplate the fluidity of identity, memory, and human connection.

Perfect for modern spaces, “Transmigration” brings warmth and intrigue to any room. Whether you’re a fan of abstract art or inspired by Joyce’s literary genius, this piece sparks thought and emotion with every glance.
